Flat screen plasma TV
If you are looking for a larger screen in that flat panel form factor, have a look at the flat screen plasma TV. They are generally bigger than LCD TVs, and have screen sizes from 32 inches up to 60 inches and more. Flat screen plasma TV energizes a grid of colored gas pockets, where each pocket is used to create a pixel of the image and gives a large, flat, full color image.
Gas plasma phosphors die away like CRT phosphors. Uneven image wear from channel logos or stock – price tickers are a concern for plasma displays, but less so with CRT-based TVs (and rarely with LCD). Flat panel plasma TV can seem brighter than CRT but the fact is that the light output varies with the picture.
A crest white image in a bright scene would not look as bright as the same image in a darker scene, the voltage level change to keep the panel from overheating. Black levels tend to be better on a flat screen plasma TV displays than LCD TVs, but blacks are not as good as on the average CRT.
Generally images on flat panel plasma TV do not look as smooth or natural as on a CRT-based TV, but high-end flat plasma TV images are more than satisfactory and for some, the thin cabinet design makes up for the variation.
You can choose from the sizes available according to the room you want to place it. If it is a small house or only children’s room where you want to put Plasma then a 32 inch flat TV would be more than adequate.
